Works very well, similar to the similar-sized one I had before (different brand-- that one lasted 20+ years before it started smoking). This one is slightly more powerful, even though the reported wattage is slightly lower. Frame seems slightly more cheaply made than my old one (these are all now made in China, whereas my old one wasn't), but still seems sturdy enough. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that the door indicator came on a few times even though the door seemed completely shut.

The size is great and it's very easy to use. I was looking for something that wouldn't take up much counter space. It looks very nice and sleek, and it does everything we need it to do. Our primary use is reheating and baking potatoes. I read some reviews where customers had trouble with the door, but I have had it about three weeks and have not had any problems.

I haven't had this microwave very long but so far so good I haven't had this microwave for to long but so far so good I was replacing one I had for over 25 years and this GE was as close as I could find Fits perfectly in my microwave cart and the control features are easy to follow and use Microwave cavity is a bit smaller then I'm use to but fits a standard dinner plate for reheats All in all I'm happy with this purchase

Annoyingly noisy. Bad interior lighting.

Great Oven....Did not fit my opening

Our previous GE microwave took a dump after only 3 years. I liked all the features so we bought another one. Due to design changes, I couldn't find one with the same dimensions. Bought this one, but it was a bit too big to fit in the location of previous one. We had to buy the next smaller unit. Smaller unit just doesn't live up to power of this one.

I had to buy a new one to replace by other GE that I've had for 12 years (only because the interior enamel coating was cracking). I recently received this microwave as a gift from my husband. It's been years and I had been wanting a new one. This model has everything I wanted and is user friendly!! There were buttons and features on my last microwave that I never used due to poor directions and ...it just wasn't a user friendly machine. I do not have that pr6at all with thus model and am able to use all functions quite easily with the directions provided. I'm very happy with it.

This microwave is almost identical to The one I was replacing. That why I chose it. However, the door literally has to be slammed to make it work. If you close like a normal person would do, the turntable Starts spinning in almost slow motion but not actually running. Have to open and slam the door to make it work.

This unit seems to be rather well designed and built. The features are nice and the chart showing the recommended settings for cook time and power are very convenient. Just wish the keypad was backlit. That's the only draw back.
